“No one will read
such a long bio, man”

Warning: I may look worst in person or on a call, but I do compensate in charm.

Well, ‘here’s to the crazy ones’.

Fábio Lattes is a storyteller, copywriter, and currently, Creative Director at Santa Clara M+C Saatchi, who finds it weird when people reference themselves in the third person in their portfolio’s bio. Like, come on, we know it’s you that wrote it and not the editor of Time Magazine.

But now he feels it’s too late to stop the gag and switch to first-person. So, he’ll write the rest of his own bio with the technique he despises. He knows: consistency is key.

With over 15 years of typing away concepts, ideas, and the occasional dab at sitcom pilots, Fábio kicked off his career focused on brand activation at Publicis Brazil, but it was venturing abroad that he grew as a creative and, most importantly, as a person. Joining Leo Burnett Italy in 2015 to work on local and global campaigns for Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Jeep. He said a tearful arrivederci and exchanged great food and nice weather for hearty food and occasionally OK weather. Yes, he always likes to see the glass half full: he moved to Germany after all. With stints at Grey and BBDO, he has worked with clients like P&G’s Febreze, Aspirin, PostBank, Dr. Oetker, Ford, Lidl, and Loctite Pulse - which he lead until 2024 as Associate Creative Director. The next year, Fábio accepted an offer with double the benefits: to become Partner and Creative Director at Santa Clara M+Saatchi and to get to return home, in São Paulo, getting to lead and work with clients like Tokio Marine, Danubio, Brasil Cacau, Outback Steakhouse and Uber.

Fábio has a chubby cat (he prefers the term ‘big boned’), rambunctious yet adorable 3-year-old twins (like most toddlers are), and is always very happy to chat: fabio.lattes@gmail.com.
