Uber understands the importance of every single drive to its operation. That's why we scouted Uber drivers with a knack for music and formed the first samba band made up exclusively by drivers: the 'Pagode Cinco Estrelas’, which translates to ‘Five Star Samba' - an homage to the score they usually get from passengers. During 2025, the group released four songs about different themes relevant to Uber drives, such as safety and earnings. Every song has its own music video.
And ended the year featuring Brazil's most famous samba artist in one of them.

The second song and music video was about a very important theme: safety. In one catchy samba tune, the band explained how Uber's Passenger Verification feature worked. And helped to make them work safer.
The third one was about something dear to everyone hearts (and pockets): earnings.
The song explained how Uber has a feature in the app dedicated to show full transparency on all the fees it charges. Assuring Drivers a clear view on how much they earn on every ride.
2025 ended with something truly special for our band. We invited Thiaguinho, Brazil's most popular samba artist to sing and record a music video with our band. An uplifting end-of-year song about how they truly move the world.
